Deb's Captive Bred Ball Pythons is owned and operated by Deborah Broadus-Muskauski who maintains her breeding colony of Ball Pythons in a 100-year-old renovated farmhouse in Baltimore, Maryland.

Deborah was first introduced to Boids when her son, William, babysat for his girlfriend's 6-ft Albino Burmese Python. Convincing his mother to hold the snake, he had no idea that she would immediately become enamored with the grace, beauty and strength of the gorgeous animal. Deborah was hooked! She immediately started researching, and finding out how huge the animal would become, she switched her focus to something more manageable, with that same grace, beauty, but with 4 times less the size and strength, this research led her to Ball Pythons, and she has remained enamored with those Boids to this day.

Deborah's first Ball Python, a Normal named Gandalf, was purchased for her by her husband, Charles Muskauski, who also fell so in love with the herp that he brought himself one, then two, and then purchased an Albino Ball Python as his "early" Christmas gift to her before he died. Because Deborah and Charlie had envisioned going into business with their passion for these herps, Deborah was still motivated to realize the dream after his passing. Her love for the animal was such that she couldn't imagine being happy doing anything else. Deborah became determined to continue the dream. She loved BPs and recognized their innate helplessness and dependence on their owners. While the world at large views snakes as objects of fear, she realized that they are in fact very vulnerable creatures who cannot hear sounds, have no body limbs to help them grasp objects, can't run at high speeds, require external heat sources because they are unable to generate their own body heat, and have no form of protection such as claws or long sharp teeth like other animals; therefore, their bites are purely from fear or hunger. Armed with this knowledge, she joined several forums to gather more information, and eventually became experienced enough to venture into the business side of owning BPs.

Deborah currently keeps heterozygous and homozygous Ball Pythons that consist of but are not limited to Mojave's, Albinos, Pastels, Spiders, Piebalds, Super Pastels, Bumble Bees, Ivories, Super Mojaves, Pewters, Lessers, Ghosts..etc  She continues to acquire new morphs for her collection.
